The story: Durood Sharifs are an essential part of the daily practices of many Friends of Allah (Awliya-Allah). The words of this Durood are short but the benefits of reciting are limitless. I used watercolour paints and gold leaf giving traditional methods with a contemporary twist to the style of calligraphy used. The word Allah is highlighted by the white calligraphy.
